WeeCycle Terms and Conditions
By purchasing a WeeCycle Ticket and sending items to WeeWear for Wee-Cycle, you agree to the following:
1. Outright purchase, not consignment Wee-Cycle is a buy-outright service. Once you accept our offer, ownership of the items transfers to WeeWear. We are not selling on your behalf, and you have no ongoing claim to the items or to any future resale price.
2. Accepted items We only accept clothing and footwear in sizes [prem to 5 years] from brands on our current Accepted Brands list. Sending items outside this range or from unlisted brands may result in those items being returned to you at your cost, or pass onto charity.
3. Condition standards Items must be in excellent, close-to-new condition. This means no stains, holes, fading, bobbling, missing buttons/fasteners, or heavy wear. Footwear must show minimal sole wear only. All items must be freshly washed within 7 days of sending (new-with-tags items excepted). Items not meeting this standard will be treated as per clause 2.
4. Sending your items You are responsible for packaging and posting your items to WeeWear. When buying a Wee-Cycle Ticket - the $5 is used to cover part of shipping cost and the rest is paid by WeeWear. You will be sent a pre-paid label to go onto your package, which much fit the dimensions of an XL bag from NZ Post (440 x 400, with 3kg max). WeeWear is not responsible for parcels lost or damaged in transit before they reach us.
5. Assessment and offer Once received, we'll assess your items against our current brand list and condition standards, and send you an itemised offer within 5 business days. Offers are based on estimated resale value and our published payout percentage per brand, not original retail price.
6. Right to adjust pricing Where we remedy a minor flaw in an item before resale (for example, treating a small mark), we reserve the right to list that item at a higher resale price than originally quoted to you. This does not change the payout already agreed and paid to you.
7. Accepting your offer You'll have 3 days to review and accept your offer. If you don't respond within this window, we'll follow up once, then treat the offer as declined and items will be donated/returned at your cost.
8. Payment Once you accept, you'll be paid via bank transfer, or WeeWear store credit at a bonus rate of +10% on your payout total. Payment will be made within 2-3business days of your acceptance.
9. Declined or unaccepted items If you decline your offer, or any items fall outside our accepted brands/condition standards, you may:
- have those items returned to you at your own postage cost, or
- allow WeeWear to donate them to a charity shop
10. No guarantee of acceptance Submitting items does not guarantee any item will be accepted or result in a payout. All assessments are made at WeeWear's discretion.
11. Changes to this service WeeWear may update accepted brands, payout percentages, or these terms at any time. The terms in place at the time you send your items will apply to that submission.
